A useful accounting platform makes its boundaries understandable. Here are the limits to consider when you evaluate BooksAI for your business.

| AI output | AI may miss details, choose unsuitable coding or misunderstand an instruction. Check the source, amounts, tax treatment and company context before relying on the result. |
| Automatic booking | Only eligible work should follow configured booking rules. Confidence is an estimate, not a guarantee of correctness. Monitor exceptions and pause automation when necessary. |
| Accounting & tax judgment | BooksAI is software, not a substitute for a qualified accountant, tax adviser or legal professional. It does not guarantee compliance across every country, state, province or industry. |
| QuickBooks dependency | Supported workflows require the appropriate QuickBooks Online company, permissions and connection. Provider limits, expired access, outages or changes can interrupt work. QuickBooks Desktop is not the core integration shown here. |
| Messaging availability | Web chat is available. Telegram is a private pilot. Slack is planned and is not currently a live connection. Pilot channels do not necessarily support all web actions. |
| Your AI provider | Managed access requires approval and an allowance. Customer API keys have separate provider billing and limits. A consumer AI subscription is not a universal BooksAI integration. |
| Learning & history | Company guidance and corrections may improve relevance, but one correction does not guarantee every future bill will be coded the same way or correctly. |
| Reports & exports | Results depend on source data, selected dates, accounting basis, company mapping and permissions. Spreadsheet copies may become stale or be edited outside BooksAI. Connected scheduling requires setup. |
| Security & compliance | Independent certifications are not completed. No software eliminates all security risks. Specific residency, contractual, regulated-data or assurance requirements must be agreed before use. |
| Availability & savings | Features, limits and access vary by release, plan and setup. No universal accuracy percentage, fixed time saving, uninterrupted-service guarantee or launch date is promised here. |
