All three plans share the core features listed above. They differ by monthly AI credit — $30 on Starter, $60 on Business and $100 on Growth. Pick by the volume of bills and questions you expect. When the monthly credit is used, a $30 or $100 top-up is available on every plan.
How many bills does the AI credit cover?
Typically about 500 bills or 350 chat answers per $30 of credit. Actual usage varies with document size and the work you ask for. When the monthly credit is used, add a $30 or $100 top-up and keep working.
Can I use my own AI?
Yes, with a supported provider API key and the required setup. Your provider bills that usage separately; a consumer chat subscription is not an API key. BooksAI-provided AI requires activation and an available allowance. If that allowance is exhausted, managed AI work needs more credit or a configured customer key to continue.
Do I still need QuickBooks and an accountant?
You need the appropriate QuickBooks Online subscription, company permissions and connection. Your team remains responsible for accounting judgment. AI prepares work; people review it or define rules for eligible automatic bookings. Exceptions need attention, and confidence is not a guarantee of correctness.
How do I pay?
Pay by card through Stripe Checkout. Billing is monthly. Change or cancel from your billing portal. The 14-day free trial asks for a card on file and does not charge until the trial ends. Promotion codes can be entered at checkout.
