By creating an account, connecting a company, or using Books AI, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you are using Books AI for a business, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that business.

Books AI helps accountants and business owners work with accounting information through chat and related interfaces. The service may read QuickBooks Online data with your authorization, draft accounting work, prepare approval packages, create exports, and submit approved actions to QuickBooks when the user and workspace permissions allow it.

You are responsible for your account, workspace users, permissions, and all QuickBooks companies connected to the service. You must only connect companies where you have the right to grant access and authorize activity.

Books AI is designed to prepare accounting work for review. You are responsible for reviewing AI output, account coding, dates, vendors, customers, journal entries, bills, and any other proposed record before approving or relying on it.

AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your facts. Books AI does not provide accounting, tax, legal, investment, or financial advice. You should consult qualified professionals before making decisions that require professional advice.

Books AI integrates with services such as Intuit QuickBooks Online, authentication providers, cloud hosting providers, AI model providers, and messaging platforms. Your use of those services may be governed by separate terms.

Books AI may offer managed AI usage, bring-your-own-key access, or both. If you provide your own AI provider key, you are responsible for that key, provider charges, provider limits, and compliance with the provider's terms.

You must not misuse Books AI, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, submit unlawful content, reverse-engineer protected parts of the service, or use the service in a way that violates law or third-party rights.

Paid plans, managed AI usage, add-ons, or implementation services may be billed as described when purchased. Taxes may apply. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. You remain responsible for the data you submit and for complying with laws and agreements that apply to your accounting data.

Books AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure from every risk, or that AI output or third-party data will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Books AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if required to protect the service, comply with law, address security concerns, or respond to a violation of these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the date above and provide notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
